Powerful new tools allow investors to make the most of their opportunities
The leading non-bank brokers have all the features you'll need for online trading.
"Bank-backed brokers are facing strong competition from established independent brokers such as Bell Direct, CMC Markets and Interactive Brokers, and up-and-coming challenger brands such as Stake and SelfWealth," says Recep Peker, research director at Investment Trends.
"In this crowded space, the brokers that successfully identify the key pain points of the end client and are most responsive to their needs will stand out."
Long established UK-based broker CMC Markets takes out top spot, as it continues to increase its product offering.
"The convenience of being able to access multiple assets and platforms through one account is a really powerful tool for investors," says Matthew Lewis, head of Asia Pacific at CMC Markets.
"Over the past few years we've added international shares and options trading to our market-leading platform, and we continue to add to our investment menu providing our clients with more opportunities to diversify their portfolios.

"Investors increasingly want to be able to trade anywhere, anytime, and our user-friendly proprietary platform and native apps support that, helping our clients to make the most of all trading opportunities."

CMC Markets is a joke of a platform. Please disclose if a payment was made for your review. After taking your advice and signing up with this company, and being bitterly disappointed on many levels, I have significantly less respect for the Money Magazine brand. The less than 2 star review on Google tells the real story of CMC Markets.
Hi Warren,
It's disappointing to hear about your experience. Have you raised your issues with CMC Markets?
No payment is received for any of the Best of the Best awards. This category was judged on the features of the broker, not its customer service.
